I totally agree. I bought my Z in a very low point of my life and it kept me going when there was no one else around me for support. There were days in the first year of ownership when i wouldnt eat so i could afford the payment (i know, i know, cue the violin). So i totally agree that there can be an unseen bond with a material object. Afterall, thats where the "security blanket" term came from. There isnt a day that goes by where the car doesnt make me smile. I'd rather let it sit for years until i could afford to drive it again rather than sell it...but that may be because i'm 6 payments away from having no lein on the title :) Its the least i can do for giving me the amount of joy its brought me over the last 4 years whether the car realizes it or not.
